The land that makes up West Haven Vermont was taken from the neighboring town of Fair Haven back in 1792. Today the town of West Haven is bordered by the Lake Champlain to the west and the Poultney River to the southeast. Both bodies of water offer swimming, boating, paddling, and other water recreations. West Haven real estate will also include lakefront and waterfront homes and properties, as well as cottages, vacation homes, and rental opportunities. Nearby Lake Bomoseen also offers summertime and warm weather adventures for the whole family. West Haven Vermont real estate is under an hour from some of Vermont’s best skiing and snowboarding. Drive an hour or less to reach Killington Resort, Pico Ski Resort, and Okemo Mountain Resort.
