Once called New Cheshire, Castleton Vermont is a Vermont town rich in history. The famous Green Mountain Boys of the American Revolution frequented the village, and some of the homes along the town’s main street can trace their origins back to the early 1800’s. Castleton is home to Castleton State College, the oldest Vermont College and the 18th oldest college in the nation.
