Woodstock Vermont is home to Suicide Six Ski Area, one of Vermont’s best-known ski resorts. Woodstock Village, or the town proper, is located on RT 4, in Central Vermont, not too far west of the New Hampshire border and Interstate 89. The White River runs through the village and under the town’s historic covered bridges. The village green hosts performance art, live musical acts, and other community gatherings. The Woodstock Country Club, south of downtown, has 18 holes of par 70 championship golf. In less than an hour’s drive one can also access Killington Resort, Pico Ski Resort, Ascutney Mountain Resort, and Okemo Mountain Resort.
